My mother had severe symptoms yesterday she went right to the hospital she was not able to move hardly at all her whole body froze and her right side of her face became numb to the point where she was asking me “if i could tell by looking at it, and asking me if it looked funny.”

She was in severe pain and could not stand or walk on her own at all. We are waiting for results. The hospital did bloodwork, xrays and a urine sample. the xrays came back ok and she has a virus also, like the flu so shes on antibiotics but we dont have results of the bloodwork yet.

She is in severe pain today as well and they sent her home yesterday. I feel it was too early and am very nervous. It appears that she had a stroke Does this sound like the same symptoms?

My dad had a massive stoke 1995 left in a wheel chair. This was one of many strokes. They gave him 3 months to live so we decided to take him home to die. [more..]
