brother in law has had a stroke

my brother in law just had a stroke it has been 5 days now and he still can not walk or use one arm they are starting therapy today he looks very bad is there any chance for him to walk again, he had many mini strokes that day but it not go to the hospital until he got up and fell cause he could not walk
