I am not overweight nor do I smoke. I am also a very light drinker. However, my diet was very bad, full of fat laiden foods. I had a stroke this past September which lead to the discovery of 5 blockages in my corinary arteries ranging from 60% to 95% blocked. My cardiologist is amazed that I did not suffer a server heart attack… I had no outward signs of heart issues at all. Within a few days of the diagnosis I was having stents inserted. Dispite some strange feelings from time to time, I think mostly psychological, I feel just fine. The procedure was virtually painless and problem free. Comments
