To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Worried no More It all began about a month ago. I came down with a virus, consisting of severe body pains, headache, and chest pain. I waited about a week to see if the symptoms would subside, and they all did, except for the chest pain The “pain” I felt was in the middle of my chest, and was worse when I would cough or change positions. I went to the doctor and he performed an EKG and informed me that I have Paricarditis [pericarditis]. He told me that the virus that had caused my other symptoms had led to this heart condition. I went back to the doctor a few days ago for some blood work. Thankfully, my case is not that severe and my doctor has me taking only Asprin. Tomorrow I go in for a heart eco, and Im hoping surgery will not be needed. The doctor also told me that we are lucky we caught this condition as early as we did. If you believe you may have this condition, please talk to your doctor as soon as possible. Comments
