I felt nauses [nauseous] and had an uncomfortable feeling in my chest, not so much as a pain, more a feeling of not being able to get comfortable. I went to the hospital to get some antibiotics because it was so close to Christmas and I didn’t want to be sick…. Well, they kept me there for 4 or 5 days, I was in a fib…that’s what they treated me for and released me…I still had that nauseous feeling in my lower chest area. Next day went to my primary and was shipped to another hospital where they discovered perricartis [pericarditis] … I had a catherization [catheterization]…I was bleeding…they drained 100 cc’s of blood from the heart… I thought that would be it…. no, still having the nausea. I had many tests…they revealed that the sack around the heart had condensed and was choking the heart…tried meds and finally had open heart surgery for the stripping of the sack… it has been 6 months and I am finally feeling myself…still have to be on many meds…glad to be alive Comments
