Knock Knock

by: pat on Fri, Oct 05 2007

My husbands primary Dr. has been sending him to ” knock” on so many varied medical doors in the past 6 months. He has been losing weight, Many times he will go without eating/ even 24 hours or more. Chest pain, exhaustion, constant cough and finally the chest pain became severe enough to warrant a trip to the E.R./ this yielded a 5 day stay. We are so extremely grateful for this accurate diagnosis. However:
My hope is that in this forum others may be able to share if they are getting better/ what type of treatment? He has ” Chronic” pericarditis & a many many other health problems. Thanks

I felt nauses [nauseous] and had an uncomfortable feeling in my chest, not so much as a pain, more a feeling of not being able to get comfortable. I went to the hospital to get some antibiotics because it was so close to Christmas and I didn’t want to be sick…. [more..]

It all started about a week ago when i thought i had a terrible flu. I had told my friends and family i felt like i had been ran over by a semi truck (six times). My head, muscles and especially my left arm ached like never before. Little did i know it was more than just a flu. [more..]
