To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download pericarditis At the age of 14, in 1991 after christmas i got rushed in to hosptial. 6 hours later i was told pericarditis the doctor told me i need a operation to drain the fiuld out of my chest. Had the operation early in the morning. The doctor drain 2 Litres of fluid out of my chest. The doctor started me on prednisolone [Steroids] i was 8 stone. within 2 weeks i went up to 16 stone. My life had changed. now i am 30 years old and the pericarditis is still there. I went into hospital on the 11th may. The doctor cut my steroids down until i get to 10mg and it come back again. And the steroids has giving me type 2 diabetes. Now in college trying to get my life in track. Comments
