my story

by: Dave B on Mon, Jun 04 2007

On the 11th May 2007, about 7pm i suddenly had severe chest pain My left arm went numb and painful as well. I felt sick so went to bathroom. After i went to bedroom and collasped on bed. My girlfriend called me an ambulance. A paramedic turned up about 10 minutes later, and shortly afterwards an ambulance arrived. They injected me with many drugs and was rushed to the hospital. I was taken into Resus where I was told that I had just had a heart attack I am only 37.

5 Days later i had 3 Stents inserted into my right artery as I had a 95% blockage. Next afternoon i was allowed home but 2 days later i was re-admitted with the same symptoms, this time i was kept in 3 days where i was told that i was suffering from Pericarditis My symptoms where fatigue, shortness of breath, sharp chest pains that went to my back, between my shoulder blades. I have been put on Dicloflex to relieve pain and inflammation.
