Abdominal Pain after Surgeries
by: Julie on Mon, Sep 24 2007

I had a fist-sized mass removed along with about a foot of my colon, where it was attached in early 2004. Later that year, I had another major abdominal surgery due to ventral hernias from the first surgery. Ever since that time, I have had pain in my stomach that does not appear to be affected by food, and hurts when I go to bed, sometimes wakes me up, and can sometimes bothers me all day. I have been to a GP and a pain management place - even had a botox injection, all to no avail. I have pretty much given up and am trying to live with it.
