August 2007

  • A daughter’s love - by Bonnie - (Wed, Aug 22 2007)
My mother is 69 years old july 20th. She had a tumor in the stomach and had to have her stomach completely removed. It has been one month and 2 weeks and she is now starting to eat food. I feel so weak that i can only look at her and say things are going to be alright, when i don’t know if they will. Every day is a struggle and she has come a long way from being in intensive care, having tubes all over and fighting infections. Who knew someone you love could be so strong? All you can do is smile to make them feel better. My mother is very happy that she is cancer-free, but what is next to come i don’t know. But if anyone can share great recipes or food suggestions i would be forever grateful. For anyone else going through the same, my best wishes to you. [more..]
