Atrial Fibrillation

I’m 49 now & had my first Af 3 years ago took Amiodorone for 1 month then came off. No more AF until last week then 2 episodes. Had an allergic reaction to Amiodorone this time so they gave me Verapamil, however this medication makes me confused, depressed, anxious and flares up my GERD so I have just come off it. Has anyone else had this reaction to Verapamil and what did they do?
