I was born in 1945 with this but not recognised until 1998,and only suffered badly when admitted to hosp 2007 for atrial fibrillation and in Oct 2008 for LVF–as I have had chest probs from a child[now have COPD] I think that all my syptoms were put down to this,WHY DON,T DOCTORS THINK HEART?but was desperately ill in 1986 and now feel this was the beginning of my heart probs.

I have had angiogram and found arteries appear ok and a now awaiting consult with open heart surgeon who will hopefully refer me for keyhole as am not suitable for uaual proceedure[have asthma,COPD.diabetes,AF,PMR,arthritis,HBP etc.
I feel so very, very weak, can,t breathe well esp afternoons and o/night when I am on an oxygen machine——-it is so depressing, can,t concentrate and feel so tired that am unable to even run the house or often get meals.

Has anyone had keyhole replacement, and how did it go?
