To quickly access health information from your website's browser, download Born with Aortic Stenosis I don’t fully understand what was wrong with me or what the doctors exactly did, but I sure am thankful for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. When I was born, they told my parents that I had Aortic Stenosis and a hole in my heart. They performed surgery on me at the age of 4 days old. What ever they did it apparently worked because I am going on to being 17 years old and living my life to the fullest. They said that there would be a high possibility that I would need another surgery around 16 yrs. old, but now they are telling me that I am as healthy as a horse. They told me that it would be hard for me to play sports and keep up with others, like that I would lose my breath way before others; I play for the softball team at my school and I am can run better than most of the girls on the team. lol Comments
