I was not diagonosed for about a week. I went back to complain that I was not feeling well. They took a contrasting scan and found that I had aortic dissection B. In November 2009 I had surgery and had two stents in the aorta. I could not walk and had a lot of pain in my right leg. Another scan showed damaged arteries and so on Xmas Eve I went in for another operation. Now I have four stents. I had a checkup on January 15, and will be going back for another check up in April 2010. Living with aortic dissection is indeed a worrying business. I have good days and bad days.I take metoprolol for my blood pressure March 2010
