I quit smoking, avoided anything containing fat or Now I am very normal with occasional bouts of chest muscle pain which has got nothing to do with the heart history, and I will have to learn to live with that. I walk about 5 KM in the morning and same distance in the night whenever I have the time. My boss and colleagues were of immense help and understanding during my ailment, recovery and switch-over period. I used to feel small “pricks” in the chest for a short period after the stents were placed, but gradually that subsided and vanished. I do take all the tests once in 6 months and so far have a clean record except the muscle pain / spasm, which is attributed to the atorvastatin-40mg Just forget that you are living a foreign body in your heart, and carry on with your daily activities, without any pressure or anxiety Practice Yoga of the mind and body. You will carry your stents for your normal lifespan! March 2010
